Expert
AirWork & Heliseilerei GmbH (A&H) is a member of various professional associations and innovation networks. For us as niche players, networking is of particular importance.
Responsible for the development of the company are Martin Schnopp (CEO), Krzysztof Lukaszewski (LPO) and Enrico Ragoni (LENG).
Enrico Ragoni (ACM) is responsible for the aeronautical operations (EASA Part 21 POA CH.21.G.0022).
You can reach all those responsible on +41 41 420 49 64 or office@air-work.com.

That is expertise! We have been involved since the introduction of the Machinery Directive in 1996. We are well networked through BG-Verkehr and are co-author of DGUV Information 214-911 "Safe use of helicopters in aerial work" (state of the art).

Admission? Yes! More time-consuming and complicated than ever, but we can do it for you too. Customized. What you can't get anywhere else.
Part 21 relevant
The current state of the art in the EASA CM-CS-005 PCDS and CS-27./29.865(c)(2) is largely based on our expertise. The acceptance of PPE against falls as a rescue device in aviation goes back to one of our first approvals, in 2000, for the «WYDER-PRES» mountain rope system. In 2016, EASA largely adopted the “Swiss model”.
ANNEX I relevant
What applies everywhere and for everything applies here: we are your first point of contact for expert reports, presentations or discussions.
Big, small or mid-sized companys as well as rescue organisations, police, army... our customers are diverse but all of them have one thing in common - their high quality standards. For our customers mainly two things count: safety and reliability.
We want to see you succeed.
We are your partner – in safety.
Drone Operation
Drone operation with our drone ShortLine TDLOe.
This is what Patrick Aegerter, member of the management of Swiss Helicopter AG - Berner Oberland, says about us:
"By the way, we have been relying on the rescue material from Air Work Heliseilerei for decades. It's nice that you could now literally be equipped and rescued on your own body with this great material."
The company Swiss Helicopter AG trusts in Swiss quality.
Das sagt Roland Harfmann, FE & Hoist Operator bei der Bundeswehr, über uns:
Das sagt Dr.-Ing. Jens Mammitzsch über uns:
As is well known, membership in associations and organizations has only one purpose: to exchange ideas and share information.
We can't do everything! Together we can do more. And some are allowed to do what we are simply not allowed to do. It's as simple as that. Strategic partnerships are an extremely important support and critical partner for us in the complex world of product manufacturing, working place safety and health, aviation, etc.
A&H Expert will again be holding training courses for professionals in 2024. At the customer's request, the training courses can be combined with an audit, which is immediately evaluated on the occasion of the training.
Training on the job
On the occasion of a inspection tour, the staff is trained in assessing the load lifting devices or rescue equipment before, during and after an operation. Small repairs (load nets) or the assessment of the discard status as well as the maintenance of the metal fittings are central to a long service life.
PS: Training and inspection of the means have one purpose: to maintain operational readiness and safety.
Picked out for you from the world of accident and incident reports and commented on.
Safety Information Notice (A&H-SIN-SKLI)
Safety relevant
The A&H-SIN-SKLI is done. All delivered parts could be checked. No determinations of deviations within the meaning of the A&H-SIN-SKLI.
However, various quality issues were uncovered that led to feedback to Crosby/Gunnebo.
A&H had to introduce additional measures for the incoming goods inspection. Basically from safety-relevant requirements, in particular also because these SKLI are also installed in HEC components and equipment parts.
The A&H-SIN-SKLI is stored under documents.

IASA 21-06 Comments and Recommentations
An interesting report that is thought-provoking at the same time. I am proud that we published the Marshaller-Syllabus in Switzerland as early as 1996. Everything that led to the incident was discussed and documented as early as 1993 - 1996 in the FOCA / SUVA working group "Marshaller-Syllabus" (FH-SY).

Manipulated PPEafah
The restraint system EN 358 L52 Grillon has a sewn eye on the rope at both ends. One on the pulling side serves as an anchor point with a carabiner; the other end is used to secure against slipping out.
In the following picture the loose end is cut off. When lowering / extending, the end can slip through the rope brake = the person will fall.
Highest risk through improper manipulation!
